Designed by Virgil Abloh for Alessi, the Occasional Object reinterprets the traditional cutlery set as a functional personal accessory. Produced in Italy from 18/10 stainless steel, the set includes a fork, spoon, and knife connected by a removable carabiner, allowing the individual pieces to be carried together outside of a conventional table setting.
Introduced in 2022, Occasional Object was produced as a limited edition of 999 individually numbered examples alongside three artist's proofs. The design reflects Abloh's approach to repositioning familiar everyday objects through subtle changes in function, context, and presentation.
Delivery and Returns
